Here is an excellent example of the rare, one year only 1961
Oldsmobile Starfire Convertible! Starfire is an automobile
nameplate used by Oldsmobile, produced in three generations
beginning in 1954. The Starfire nameplate made its debut with the
1954-1956 Ninety-Eight series convertibles. For 1957 only, all
Ninety-Eight series models were named Starfire 98. After a two-year
hiatus the Starfire name returned for 1961 as separate model
offered in a single convertible body style only. Powered by the 330
Horsepower 394 Cubic Inch V8 paired to a smooth 3 speed Hydra-Matic
transmission. This Starfire is very well equipped with power
steering, power drum brakes, factory air conditioning, Wonder Bar
AM radio, power windows with power vent windows and power
convertible top. New interior with bucket seats, center console
with factory tachometer. This car has received a restoration a few
years back and is in overall excellent condition! It runs and
drives down the road beautifully. Call or email
