This 1927 Ford Model T race car was acquired by the seller 22 years
ago as a project. The frame was straightened and used as a template
for a replacement unit, and the cowl on the hand-formed aluminum
body was replaced. Power comes from a modified 1927 Ford Model T
engine equipped with an OHV Chevrolet cylinder head. Kawasaki Ninja
600 disc brakes were installed at all four corners, and
rack-and-pinion steering was added. The rear end was rebuilt with
bronze thrust bearings and full floating hubs. Additional
modifications are outlined below, and a custom trailer made for
this vehicle is included in the sale. This Model T racer is not
street legal and is offered on a bill of sale in British Columbia.
