The unusual production arrangement between Italian body designer Pininfarina and US Based Cadillac resulted in a sport luxury car that was quite pricey coming in at close to $60,000 in 1987. The bodies were shipped in specially equipped Boeing 747's, 56 at a time over the course of 7 years with production totaling 21,430 cars. They were sent from Italy to Detroit, MI where the drivetrains were fitted and finally assembly was finished. With bold styling and full of luxury features including the full command center, this is one of the most unique vehicles you can drive. This Allante represents the second year of production and along with the 4.1L V8 and 4 speed auto transmission was a smooth and reliable roadster that put the European counterparts on notice of another kid in town.

It is estimated that just 17 Mary Kay Allantes remain on public roads, making it an instant collector's piece. Only 53 examples were made overall, and many of the originals were repainted after the Mary Kay lease was up. This example is in very solid shape overall with nice paint. The body has a few bumps and bruise with age. The stock 15in wheels are in great shape and have nice Firestone tires. The black soft top is decent but could use a bit of work. The red interior is very clean and features Italian leather with just a little wear on the power 10-way seats. Other features include power windows, premium audio system, digital gauge cluster, and trip computer.
