Vehicle Description
Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1930 Ford Model A Coupe,
elegantly presented in black over a brown interior with
straw-colored wire wheels and pinstripe. All-steel body, fenders
and running boards with no known rust; older restoration has held
up well and the paint retains a nice shine. Single-family ownership
in since 1968. Body, chrome and glass are all in good driver
condition. Whitewall tires are older but still serviceable.
Interior is finished in a medium brown velour; seats, door panels,
headliner, floor coverings, and dash are all in good condition. All
instruments plus all three roll-up windows (left, right and center
rear) are working. Rumble seat is upholstered in black vinyl for
durability.
This car has been regularly and properly maintained for the last 51
years under the care of the same family; this Model A was much
beloved, whether for regular appearances in the University of
Georgia homecoming parade or for Sunday afternoon trips for ice
cream with family and neighborhood kids in the rumble seat or
standing on the running boards.
Recent service includes a tune up and carb rebuild - it starts
easily and runs and drive quite well. Engine, transmission, clutch,
steering and brakes feel just as they should. This is a well-sorted
example in a timeless and attractive color combination, plus
long-term ownership history. For more information about this 1930
