With a very cool look, the right upgrades, and enhanced original V8
power, this 1974 Plymouth Road Runner tribute hits all the marks
for a great classic - including the value price.
You know you love the look of this one. 1974 was the last year that
Plymouth's B-bodies really had that long and sinister look, and
this one seems to really showcase that the best. The red paint has
a bold presence, and the blacked-out grille look like it's
consuming cars on the road ahead. Plus, the stipe package really
highlights some of the best features. It draws attention to the
bulge in the hood with twin scoops as well as the full-width rear
spoiler. The white also runs the length of the coupe before
wrapping around the top and showcasing the pillarless hardtop
profile (a feature that would disappear after this year.) Add in
some nice shine from the chrome bumpers and upgraded Cragar SS
wheels, and this is an all-around appealing coupe.
The full black interior has a nice muscle car appearance. This has
a nice classic textured look, and there's enough space for family
and friends, so you'll happily share the classic car experience
with others. This has the right extra pieces - from the upgraded
AM/FM/CD stereo to the cool/classic Road Runner emblems on the dash
and three-spoke steering wheel. And the addition of the Sunpro tach
gets you ready for something nice under the hood.
The numbers-matching original 318 cubic-inch V8 is nicely situated
in the engine bay. There are newer plugs, wire, hoses, and more to
keep this looking good and running strong. And because this wants
to be a true Road Runner tribute, they have made the right
investments in performance upgrades. That means a Holley Street
Demon 650 four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and long tube
headers that add power while feeding the rumbling dual exhaust.
There are even cutouts for the exhaust if you really want to bring
the thunder. But more than just a powerful sound, this classic
wants to be the one you show off everywhere. So it comes with great
all-around driving features like a three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up
front.
A great look and all the right upgrades come together to deliver a
unique Mopar at a value price. Don't miss this deal, call
