This 190 SL was purchased in 2009 from the owners whom purchased this car in 1963. This SL had been in storage for several years, with the body and paint looking as it does now. This car has the original tool roll, jack and factory manuals. All components such as head lights, blinkers, break lights, horn and radio work.
Mechanically, the car has had a recent tune up and the master cylinder was rebuilt. Recently installed are a new stayfast top, seat covers and carpet to give the car an excellent appearance. The car does run and drive well and is now sitting in storage again. The present owner has only driven the car a little over 200 miles since owning the car.
There are chalk numbers behind the dash that must pertain to something from the factory. The radio has been upgraded from tubes to solid state and works as original. As noted above, this 190SL is a genuine DB40(black) over 641(red) interior with the rare factory hardtop option.
