Vehicle Description
1979 Dodge D150 Li'l Red Express High-Performance Pickup-the first
factory produced muscle truck. This one is done; all wood new: box
floor, side wood. The exterior paint glistens in its beautiful
bright red and the chrome bumpers shine as they did from day one.
The truck shows absolutely no signs of rust. This is one example of
only 5,118 produced. All were offered in one color-Red. Interiors
were available in black or red with bench or bucket configurations
with a fold down console; which this one has. Interior choices and
a limited-slip rear end were the only options available.
Power is produced from a high-performance 360 V8 225 HP, identical
to the Dodge Police Car Engines, accomplished by an aggressive cam,
heavy valve springs, cold air intake and more. A performance
modified 727 Load Flite Auto with a 3.55:1 axle ration-and not
forget the twin diesel style exhaust stacks.
So if you want performance in an eye-catching package and all at an
affordable price, this is a turn-key fun investment.
