Rare 1936 Ford Club Cabriolet
This 1936 Club Cabriolet is a Very Rare Car. It’s an unmolested, All American Original Vintage Automobile. Henry Ford only made 4,616 of them in 1936 and there are only 151 still in existence per DMV. Most of those have been tuned into Hot Rods.
The Club Cabriolet was a Experimental Model for H. Ford. It was the first year Ford put a backseat in a Coupe (as oppossed to a Rumble Seat).
This car has had a full body off restoration in 1992 to just the way it rolled off the H. Ford assembly line in September 1936. The motor is a Flat Head V8 with only 79,100 miles, that’s less than a thousand miles per year. Original color Vineyard Green, tube Radio, all gauges, Gas, Temperature, Amperage and Oil all original and restored. This car also has the original Stainless Steel wheels and the true and correct Cooker 4” Whitewall tires, 6 Volt Battery system complete with Cloth Wiring.
