Vehicle Description
Champion Motors International is thrilled to present this lovely
and extremely rare left-hand drive 1953 Silver Dawn. This beautiful
Rolls-Royce has been cherished by a single Long Island family for
the last 40 years and one family prior to that. It has always been
garaged, well maintained and driven only on sunny weekend days.
It's finished in a handsome two tone paint scheme of Blue and Black
complimented by a Beige interior with Blue piping and Blue carpets.
The epitome of luxury in 1953, this Rolls-Royce comes with its
crystal glasses, rear foot-rests, spare, jack, recent maintenance
records, miscellaneous parts and air pump. One look inside and out
and you can immediately see this was a well preserved and loved
car. The Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn is a full size luxury car that was
produced at their Crew works from 1949 to 1955. A mere 760 were
produced during this time with a low percentage being left hand
drive. It was the first Rolls-Royce car to be offered with a
factory built body which it shared, along with its chassis, with
the Bentley Mark VI until 1952 and then the Bentley R Type until
production finished in 1955. *While every reasonable effort is made
