The Rare and Desirable 1984 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible
Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz hit a home run with this limited edition convertible—and our convertible shows why:
After an 8-year hiatus since the last 1976 Eldorado convertible was manufactured, Cadillac reintroduced these convertibles in its top-of-the-line model: the Biarritz in 1984.
We are told that this estate-sale vehicle was purchased about 2 years ago from the original owner and now shows only 70,184 on the odometer.
For those of you who like to decode VINs, the car’s VIN is:1G6AL6786EE674550
An Investment-grade Grand Touring 4-passenger Convertible
The car is finished in the very elegant Flax (cream) color, with a contrasting burgundy convertible top.
The frame and underside of the car appear free of rust, other than some minimal surface rust.
Open the hood and one looks down into a clean engine compartment.
The Tufted Burgundy leather seat upholstery—with room for 4—is all in very good condition. The door panels and dash pad look equally nice. The simulated wood dash trim all is in good condition.
The Burgundy convertible top is canvas (as original) and was just replaced.
This car is equipped with Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz’s famous 4.1 Liter V-8 4100 engine which starts right up and runs as it should—strong and fast!
The 4-speed automatic transmission shifts properly and smoothly enabling an enjoyable ride around town or into the country.
This convertible has 4 like-new 215/75R15 tires mounted on regular Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz wheels with wire-spoke covers.
The power disc brakes on all four wheels bring the car to a rapid and safe stop.
The list of luxury/safety features includes:
The correction of a small radiator leak and deterioration of the exhaust system will be included in the car’s list price.
There is nothing to surpass a Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz for Comfort or Quality
When one sees and drives this Biarritz convertible it becomes apparent why this car was the top of the Cadillac line-up. Accordingly, this Biarritz represents not just a great driving experience but likely a sound investment as well. However good the investment, the joy of driving this quality machine is what really counts.
