This 2000 Lotus Exige is one of 604 Series 1 examples built
worldwide and was reportedly delivered new to the US.The car spent
time in Texas and Illinois before being imported to Canada in 2016,
and the seller acquired it two and a half years ago. Power is
supplied by a Rover K-series VHPD inline-four mated to a 5-speed
manual transmission, and features include a roll cage, fire
suppression system, an aftermarket exhaust, and more. The car was
displayed at the Lotus tent at Pebble Beach in its original British
Racing Green and was repainted in orange by the previous owner. The
seller has added approximately 3k kilometers (~1,900 miles) since,
and installed new tires, motor mounts, and Stack motorsport gauges.
This Exige was the subject of an article on Road and Track in
December 2017 and is now being offered with partial service
records, a clean Carfax report, and British Columbia registration.
