This 1950 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup Resto Mod truck we have at Skyway
Classics is an incredible very recent complete custom frame up
resto mod build. No cost was spared to make a clean, powerful,
comfortable, beautiful, and striking street rod.
Mechanical
Our 1950 is powered by a 466 cubic inch Big Block Chevrolet that
has been turned to a 545 cubic inch monster stroker motor that is
pumping out a whopping 575hp!
A list of parts on this engine includes a chrome aluminum intake,
performance carb, chrome Chevrolet valve covers and air cleaner,
tube headers, performance plumbing, performance radiator,
serpentine belt drive, performance spark plug wires, electronic
upgrades and more.
A 700R4 automatic transmission, power disk brakes, power steering,
and Air Conditioning add to the driving experience and safety,
too.
But let's not forget the custom frame with its performance front
suspension and the coil over rear suspension with all new shocks,
spring, and drive train as well as the custom dual exhaust
system.
Interior
The 3100 features a tastefully upholstered in a nice brown leather
and sueded bucket seat with matching console and door panels. The
driver will see a set of custom performance gauges and a perfect
painted dash. A custom stereo system and brown carpet and floor
mats set off the rest of the interior.
Everything in this truck is near perfect and you will find it to be
so from our pictures.
Exterior
The Chevrolet is painted in a deep Root Beer Brown with the chrome
in amazing shape as well as the wood refinished bed too. All this
sit on custom 5-spoke chrome wheels and performance tire and
visible red caliper disc brakes.
Conclusion:
This truck is beyond nice. You have to see it, and when you do
you'll be wanting to drive it home! We feel this is one of the
best, if not the best 1950 Chevrolet 3100 truck in the country!
