Nice and solid unmodified 1979 CJ7 with original 304 V-8 and 3 speed manual transmission. Starts and runs great. Tracks straight down the road, no wander or shimmy. Has original hardtop as well, with soft and bikini tops. New 2.5" springs and new tires wheels. Metal is solid, only one little rust bubble under driver side Jeep logo in fender. Floors are rust free and solid.
Would make a great starting point for an original restoration. It is getting harder and harder to find CJ7's that havent been abused off-road, or turned into off-road buggies.
Trucks and SUVs dominate the top ranks of the Hagerty Vehicle Rating, taking the top five spots with the 1966-77 Ford Bronco dethroning the 1976-86 Jeep CJ-7 from the No.1 spot.
If you watched the Super Bowl, you probably took note of the evocative and star-studded 60-second Jeep commercial during the half time break.
