Vehicle Description
We are pleased to present this 1957 Chevy 210 show quality
Resto-mod was built from the ground up using high quality
workmanship and an eye for detail. It has integrated modern
technology that makes it handle like a sports car of our current
era. The car has 4,106 miles since the build was completed in 2005.
The entire build was fully documented that includes a picture album
of the process. The body is perfect with no Bondo and has a clean
smooth finish. The blue paint has a showroom condition shine and
the chrome is spectacular. It is powered by a 468ci with a
Holley750 cfm Dual Fed carburetor. It has a Summit Racing camshaft
with hydraulic rockers. The aluminum intake is an Edelbrock
Performer Dual Plane. The headers are Hedman ceramic-metallic
coated that are connected to the custom designed Flowmaster dual
exhaust system with chrome Megs tips. The transmission is the
top-of-the-line automatic 700R4 with a Lokar shifter. The custom
made Griffin heavy duty radiator and the thermostatically twin
controlled electric cooling fans was designed for this high
performance engine and for summer cruising. The air conditioning
blows cold air. The power steering is a custom Jim Meyer design
that feels tight and makes this car handle exceptionally well
compared to a modern sports car. The fabricated front suspension
with tubular upper and lower A-frames, independent coil over shocks
and rear leaf springs along with the front and rear sway bars gives
the illusion of being on rails with a great comfortable ride. The
lowered suspension gives it that tough looking stance. The
compressed air powered 4-wheel disc brakes are custom designed for
this vehicle. The custom made drive line down to the custom
assembled rear axle assembly and the Posi traction rear end with
3.55 gears inside were specifically designed to match the power
output of the engine. The wheels are from American Racing and the
like new tires are Goodyear 215R60-16 for the front and 225R60-16
on the rear. The interior has spectacular grey leather upholstery
all around and the dash has been customized with digital
components.
