Vehicle Description
STK 2584 1947 Chevrolet Custom Street Rod
This stunning 1947 Chevy Street Rod is an older restoration that
was built to be driven and enjoyed. The Chevy received a full
restoration that included a broad range of mechanical enhancements.
Its custom Blue finish is accented with Purple/Teal ghost flames
and shaved hood/doors/trunk. Michelin/Cooper radials are mounted on
15" 5-spoke American Racing wheels. The smart gray tweed interior
is well designed and the updated dash incorporates a full
compliment of AutoMeter gauges. Comfortable bucket seats, center
console, A/C, power windows/trunk and tilt-wheel complete the
interior. Sounds are furnished by an Audiovox AM/FM/CD system and
the manual convertible top is in good condition. The drivetrain was
donated from a '74 Chevy Monte Carlo. A detailed engine compartment
houses the rebuilt 350ci Chevy small-block that sounds strong and
very streetable. It is equipped with a high-rise intake, 4-barrel
carb and Nitrous Oxide. Tube headers exit into a free-flowing dual
exhaust. The hydraulic cam burbles with a mild lift/duration that
mates well with the 3-speed 350 TurboHydramatic and street gearing.
Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator w/flexfan and the
electrics have been upgraded to a 12V alternator configuration. The
chassis mounts power steering and power disc/drum brakes with dual
master cylinder. This handsome street rod truly needs to be seen
and driven to be appreciated. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
