government regulations. Also with government restrictions, 1972 was
the last model year to see both chrome bumpers causing the earlier
stingrays to be more sought after.
This '69 Stingray is powered by a healthy 383 v8 paired with a M-21
4 speed transmission. The car snaps to life with the turn of a key
and shifts through the gears just as smoothly as possible. Under
the hood you will find upgrades such as MSD ignition, MSD coil, MSD
distributor, Accel wires, headers, Demon 4 barrel carburetor,
aluminum intake, new alternator, power steering. Other highlights
include T-tops, chrome luggage rack, leather seats, car cover, shop
manual. The silver paint remains in good condition and the chrome
shines well. The interior shows well for its age. This car is
