The first Generation XJ was produced for a total period of 24 years
with only two major facelifts in 1973 and 1979. The Series III cars
were built from 1979-1992. They offered a couple different engine
variants including the V12 in the US with a couple not being
offered here in the US due to emission regulations. The car offered
here today is a one-family owned since new and is strikingly good
looking with the very classical look of black over tan hydes. The
leather and interior are in very good condition and the paint still
retains a very nice glossy shine. All lights and windows work as
they should and this car is ready for the road after having just
completed a recent tune and service. The tires and brakes are good
and this car goes down the road as good as it looks. This vehicle
is on consignment and is completely stock as far as we can tell.
This car comes with the original owners manual, took kit and spare.
The original window sticker is also available. The car was
purchased new in Kalamazoo Michigan at Engel Jaguar. The car
resided as a daily driver in Mount Pleasant until the passing of
the original owner. It then has been kept in the family as a
cottage vehicle. This is a great looking and driving car for a very
reasonable price.
