This week Canyon State Classics brings to market an awesome example
of a 1965 Jeep CJ-5 Tuxedo Park Mark IV in stunning condition
inside and out. This Jeep has lived in the Southwest desert area its
whole life and is completely solid and rust-free, and still retains
its all original steel tub with no patch work. This little CJ has
just come out of the collection of a 35 year Jeep dealer and expert
who just recently completed a full frame off restoration on this
gorgeous CJ-5. He stated that he believes the miles are original at
over 43k, as he knows the Jeep was off the road for the better part
of 25 years before the restoration. The vehicle has been carefully
restored to like new condition! Don't miss your chance to own one
of the cleanest CJs on the market today!!
The list of some of the equipment:
-Original AMC 134ci 4cy Engine -3 Speed Manual Transmission -Tuxedo Park Padded Dash -Tuxedo Park Padded Rear Side Seats -Warn Locking Front Hubs -Original Factory 15" Kelsey Hayes Wheels -5 New White Wall Tires -Bucket Seats -1 Year Only "Tuxedo Park Mark IV" Trim The body on this CJ is in great condition overall. The paint on the Jeep is all brand new, and underneath the jeep looks as clean as on top! As I mentioned before this Jeep was taken completely off the frame and painted in pieces before being re-assembled.The body on the jeep is all steel and is very straight. The jeep started off as a totally rust free body before the restoration, so you know the final product is great! The CJ is painted in its original color of Glacier White and has had the correct Tuxedo Park Emblems just re-installed. The windshield is correctly painted black, and the interior floors are all very nicely sprayed with a black non slip paint under the carpet kit. The interior is in great shape all around. The original seats have been recovered and are all in great condition with no tares or rips of any kind and no signs of wear. The dash is in nice shape with all correct gauges in place and everything functioning as it should. The Tuxedo Park-only dash pad has been reupholstered to match the seats. Another extremely rare thing about this CJ is the optional rear wheel well padded seats! The seats do have original seat belts, and windshield wipers work. Mechanically, this little CJ runs GREAT! The jeep starts right up and the rebuilt four speed shifts properly and had an all new clutch and slave cylinder installed when the drive train was bolted back together. The 134ci Inline 4 moves this Jeep around with ease and is actually quite peppy and the carburetor was just overhauled and new fuel pump and tank installed. The motor was opened up checked out, and then resealed with all new gaskets before going back on the frame. I personally drove the Jeep around downtown for the past couple of weekends with ease! The Jeep is very tight and doesn't leak a drop of anything and the cooling system keeps the motor cool even in the Arizona heat. The four wheel drive system functions perfectly and the locking hubs work correctly. All brakes were fully serviced and work perfectly. The electrical system was updated and the original Motorola alternator was replaced with a more dependable updated alternator/regulator combo. This jeep is extremely reliable and starts right up every time. All in all, this is one heck of a nice Jeep to drive and will get compliments as well as stares everywhere it goes. If you have been searching for a nearly showroom perfect Jeep CJ-5, your search ends here! The car has a clean Arizona Title. Any further questions please call Jon at 480-703-2337. The car is located in Sunny Tempe, AZ!
