This 1948 Chevy Pick Up has a 355 ci Blueprint engine dyno'd at 380hp & 390 lb/ft torque. Lots of chrome accessories and a March serpentine belt make this a real nice looking set up. A chrome Be Cool radiator ensures the engine runs a nice cool 160 degrees even with the AC on a hot summer day. The engine is mounted on a front clip from a 1979 Camaro and mated to a Turbo 350 with shift kit, Lokar shifter and 1800-2200 rpm stall converter. Driving is a pleasure due to power disc brakes up front, drums rear and power steering. The vintage air and heating keeps you comfortable when the weather is too hot or too cool. The roof has a 3" chop and the door handles removed to give a nice smooth appearance. For tunes there is a Panasonic head unit which includes CD player, blue tooth, hands free phone and Pandora. The sound is amplified by a Alpine amplifier pumping crystal clear sound to all four speakers. The two tone vinyl seats, matching door liners, gray carpet and new tweed headliner creat a nice comfortable interior. Fuel is stored in a fuel cell mounted in a diamond plate tool box in the bed making refueling a breeze and it looks cool too. Omega Kustom Instruments and Flaming River chrome tilt steering wheel add to the convenience factor. A set of BFG radials are mounted to American Racing wheels, 7" front 8" rear. The polished aluminum diamond plate running boards and matching bed are durable and good looking. There are a couple places on the body that are not perfect and I think the price reflects this.
I am a private owner selling this car on my own because I have too many cars and need to down size. Please contact me if you have any questions want some specific photos or any additional details. Thanks for looking
