Vehicle Description

  First year for the new 1939 Mercury. Shark mouth grille by Bob Gregorie Continental designer  for Edsel.

Fabulous unmolested example; never rusted, no patches or bondo anywhere.
Floor shift 1939 only.  Restored forty years ago from original fully optioned car with radio and heater.  Leather interior.  Very good top and boot. Window glass clear.  White side tires and matching spare have very good tread.  Excellent engine.
Includes original tool kit, jack, owner's manual, sales brochures, and a dozen b/w factory-dealer original publicity photos.

Rebuilt or replaced starter, generator, fuel pump, carburetor, distributor, ignition wires, master cylinder, wheel cylinders & shocks.
Tranny removed and rebuilt. Gas tank boiled clean. Receipts available.

Highway rear gears (3:51)  standard in the Mercury for easy interstate driving,  and standard hydraulic brakes make for safe stoping.

LED headlights allow staying late at cruise-ins. Only departure from stock is dual exhausts with glass-paks. 

This Mercury is tight, runs and drives as new.  You will not be disappointed!
