1974 Volkswagen 21 window bus. The Volkswagen Type 2 Transporter
Bus is a renowned forward control rear-engine panel van first
introduced in 1950. Often given the nickname "microbus" or
"minibus", the model was a commercial success. Many other
manufacturers such as Chevrolet, Citroen, Dodge, Ford, Nissan,
Toyota, etc. wanted a piece of the market and rolled out their own
passenger vans. The Type 2 was based off of the Type 1 "Beetle",
but featured a ladder chassis and unit body construction. Numerous
variants were available over the years including panel vans, kombis
(combination motor vehicles), buses, taxis, samba-buses, pickup
trucks, crew cabs, camping vans, etc. This does not even include
the numerous third-party conversions that were also available. This
particular example is finished in the common two-tone colors with
white on top and yellow on the bottom. There is a split front
windshield that makes up the 21 window total. other features
include: two roof racks, window curtains and a 1500cc 4-cylinder
engine. A manual transmission is also present. Call us today at
