We changed the oil and filter and checked and lubed the chassis. We also replaced the left upper control arm bushings, left upper ball joint, power steering control valve, and power steering cross hoses.
1974 was the first year for front and rear rubber bumpers and the last year without catalytic converters. GM only produced 6,690 with the L82 engine option and 12,356 four speed manual transmissions out of 37,502 total production that year.
