Vehicle Description
This is a 1926 Ford Model T with a genuine Henry Ford steel body,
but you better believe it leaves the rest of its history behind in
its dust. With a supercharged stroker V8, independent rear
suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, overdrive transmission, custom
interior, slick paint and much more, this is a wilder ride than 'ol
Henry ever imagined.
When most people think about a genuine Model T coupe, this is the
last thing that pops into their minds. And that's what makes this
one so uniquely cool. It has discarded all of the old ways, right
down to the modern cinnamon paint that's borrowed from a modern
Toyota palette. In fact, this is the perfect color for a car like
this, because the deep red has spicy tones that highlight the
aggressive stance, louvered sunshade, and streamlined body. Also,
there's a nice double brightwork effect with the polished wheels
matching the bumpers. And then there's the brass-colored elements
like the step plates, radiator mascot, and rear carriage lights. So
yes, there's a lot to look at on this very custom Ford!
Since the exterior is so updated and upgraded, the interior is,
too. There is a full package with nicely coordinated tan seen on
the door panels, carpeting, and the well-bolstered custom seat.
Even the trunk matches this theme. You get an AM/FM/CD stereo and
provisions for power windows. This even can be upgraded to air
conditioning with many major components already in place. What we
especially like is how some of the exterior touches are continued
inside with the cinnamon paint surrounding the windshield, and
plenty of brass-like shine on the steering wheel and around the
full upgraded gauge package.
This build was meant to be shown off with the hood open. That's why
there are plenty of polished components. Plus, everyone will be
wow'd by the look of supercharged power in a Model T. This is
seriously powerful machine with a 383 cubic-inch stroker motor
being force-fed by the Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and
supercharger. That means a unique buzz of power coming from under
the hood and plenty of rumble out the rear dual exhaust. As you
look at the undercarriage photos, you're going to see a full custom
setup with a polished four-link drop axle front end and disc
brakes. In the rear is a Jaguar-style independent suspension with
adjustable coilovers and inboard disc brakes. So this is not only
powerful, but also it has the suspension components to utilize it
correctly. In fact, this is built to be an all-around cruiser.
That's why you have a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission
w/overdrive that also features its own separate oil cooler.
This build is thoughtful, powerful, and absolutely unique. So don't
