This is a 1962 1/2 356 T6 S90 Coupe. Significant, recently completed restoration work our believed to be matching number Super 90. (last digit of engine number is different than on a record on file with PCNA - however our research leads us to believe this is the original engine for this chassis. Professionaly rebuilt, S90 engine and transaxel.completed by Porsche specialist many years ago, with partial top end rebuild and other service and professional underbody restoration as needed, in 2018-19 . Currently Silver with black interior. Silver Powder coated factory steel wheels with hubcaps. Includes a Blaupunkt Frankfurt AM/FM.Shortwave radio (not wired in), toolkit, owners manual and other documentation shown in photos. A fast appreciating classic.
Our `62 Porsche 356B T6 S90 has received siginificant professional restoration-A rare and fun car to own and drive and an appreciating collectable. The Super 90 engine model is the top of the 356B line, and is a California Black plate and Blue Plate survivor. Previous owner had the engine professionally rebuilt in Los Angeles, CA and built to claimed 120-125 dyno-tested horsepower. The 741 model 356B 4spd transaxel was also rebuilt at that time. Rebuild is many years ago, but few miles since. Body/paint was professionally restored by Steve Huber and has not been rarely driven since. Upper Body was stripped to bare metal, and carefully prepped for paint. Car requires some light, final assembly. Car looks terrific in silver. Has optional speedster aluminum side trim. Work required to complete the car is primarily , re-installation of a few components in the dash, install glass, and some trim and other misc. work. We were planning on installing a new, red leather interior, but recently decided to install the black vinyl good condition interior as shown in photos. We recommend buyer installs a new headliner, then install rear window, and purchase carpeting and or rubber floor mats. Photos show car with doors removed to simplify headliner and interior installation. We will install doors. This is a very solid, very good condition S90 coupe.
