For Sale: 1977 Datsun Pickup in Long Island, New York

Located in Texas Shipping Available I purchased this datsun from Gas Monkey Garage back in august of 2016. He purchased it from barrett-jackson in mohegan sun. The truck had a cameo background shot in one of the fast and loud episodes while it was at his shop. I remember this truck from when I was a kid it was in magazines back in the late 70's and the 80's. I have one magazine it was in and i have several pictures of the truck at gas money and with richard rawlings standing near it. The truck was built in 1977 by vini bergman and has not been touched since. All the body flares, custom front end, and the sun visor are all hand made out of steel back in 1977! the paint and bodywork is from the same time and still presents well for a 40+ years old paint job. The paint is 6 different blues and looks great its even won a best paint at a local show. The interior was done at the same time 1977 and was done like a custom van style. It has a pass thru set up the back of the cab and the front of the bed and cap are all cut out and enclosed to pass thru front to back its pretty cool. The underside of this truck spotless and rust free since it spent it's mainly out in california. There is a working 8 track am/fm radio in the truck. The antenna is manual and is recessed into the fender. The truck has about 80,000 miles but I was told the motor has been rebuilt. I have ised this truck over the past few years and have had a lot of fun with it.
