The Story behind this ‘76 Chevrolet Corvette SABER-----
Several weeks ago we had an incredible 1973 Volkswagen convertible (that was a unbelievable front engine Chevy 427 Pro-Street vehicle) ... and ... a gentleman contacted us and stated that he loved "One-of-a-Kind" vehicles. He wanted our "One-of-a-Kind" Pro-Street VW and offered this 1976 Corvette Saber as a trade-in.
Well ... I had never heard of a Saber so he had to fill me in on the history and the rareness of this car. He was especially proud of being invited to last year’s 2018 Carlisle Import & Performance Nationals (the largest corvette meet in the world) to display the vehicle since it was such a rare Corvette.
In fact ... that is why he personally performed a 8 month "Nut & Bolt / Frame Off" restoration of the Saber so it would show as perfect as he could possibly make it.

5. Hotchkiss suspension & biostein shocks

7. chrome block hugger headers & side exhaust
8. dual electric cooling fans
9. shaved door handles
10. t-tops & blacked out moldings

This weekend I drove to Miami to pick up 2 cars with my son Joshua ... and ... on the way home, a gentleman called me and stated that he was looking at our web site FSDHotRodRanch.com
and noticed that we had a yellow Saber noted as a trade-in.
he then offered that he was the original builder. A retired mechanical engineer, he now lived in Hollywood, Florida. He was a wonderful gentleman and confirmed all the information that I had been told by the previous owner and expanded on the story. He also stated that he would love to know where the car ended up ... and ... I stated that I would share his information with the new owner.
