Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 20th year in the
classic and muscle car business. When Pontiac launched the first
salvo of what would come to be known as the muscle car revolution
with their 1964 GTO, they changed the entire automotive landscape.
Performance became something that almost anyone could afford rather
than an expensive luxury available only to the wealthy. Within a
few years every major manufacturer had models designed to compete
with The Great One (remember those ads?). Our classic Montero Red
(R) 1966 GTO hardtop is a beautiful example of the 'stacked
headlight' cars. This styling cue was used only on 1965-1967 GTO's
and for many it marks the pinnacle of Pontiac design. Beneath the
hood, the renowned Pontiac V8 has been fortified with an Edelbrock
Performer aluminum intake manifold, a Holley carburetor (freshly
rebuilt), new Pertronix ignition, and a new Champion aluminum
radiator. Interior amenities include air conditioning, power
steering, power front disc brakes, 4-speed manual transmission with
Hurst shifter, console, and correct black (223) upholstery. The
chassis photos highlight the new Red Stripe tires, new fuel tank,
new heavy duty front and rear sway bars, new tubular trailing arms,
and new exhaust splitters. This is a legendary car with beautiful
styling that will never be equaled (Big Brother won't allow it ).
Just remember what the name means; plenty of Gas, Tires, and Oil!
Of course our friends at the DPS have an alternate expression; Gas,
TICKETS, and Oil! Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service
dealership that can assist with worldwide shipping, insurance, and
financing options. Power Steering,Power Brakes,Bucket Seats,Air
