Vehicle Description
This 1971 Ford F250 Camper Special XLT is a very cool truck! It
came out of Idaho and it is very original and it is super clean.
This truck was obviously well taken care of over the years and it
shows. Recently it has had a lot of mechanical work done to it to
make it a nice driving truck. The last owner purchased from a
longtime owner who had the truck and did not use it alot so he went
through the mechanicals and got everything up to snuff. The body on
this truck is amazingly clean and it looks to still have the
original paint. The underside is extra clean and it is an XLT so it
is the loaded up version. The interior appears to also be original
and it is in excellent condition!! Everything works on this truck
except the AC does not blow cold.
The engine is the original 390 V8 that has been totally rebuilt
(have receipt). At that time they put on new belts and hoses,
rebuilt the carb new u-joints, new tires, and new master cylinder.
This truck has power steering, power front disc brakes, and AC.
Rear axle is a DANA 60 with 3.54 Gears. This is a pretty loaded up
truck in the day and it runs and drives excellent. These unrestored
trucks are getting more and more popular!
