Packard Super Clipper Seven-Passenger Sedan, all original unrestored. Also known as a family limo, 2126 series extended 148 inch wheelbase. CCCA approved classic. 356 CID L-head inline eight-cylinder engine, 165 HP, three-speed manual transmission, independent front suspension, live rear axle with semi-elliptic rear springs, four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. Seven-passenger sedan, this immense car is from a time when bigger was better. Based on the Super Clipper, it featured Packard’s prewar styling cues, but with an updated grille. This extended wheelbase car carried all the class and elegance one would expect from a car that sold for $4,330 in 1946.
The paint is mostly original and does have blemishes from age but still shows well. This original car should never be repainted in my opinion. The chrome and trim is all original and in very good condition. The car has never been restored. There is no body filler or repaired panels anywhere on the vehicle. The underside is untouched and extremely solid. There are no floor patches anywhere. The trunk floor is also solid. It has been in a museum for most of it's life. Mileage appears to be original.
Interior is original and shows very minimal wear. Seats, headliner and door panels are beautiful. Dash, steering wheel and all inside trim is in great shape. The flip down seats are truly amazing.
The car stars instantly. It runs and drives well with no issues. Drives straight and true. Wide whitewall tires are older but are in beautiful condition with little wear.
Everything works including all electrical, gages, lights, turn signals, brake lights, etc.
Vehicle has been gone through, inspected with all maintenance performed as needed.
