Frame-off rebuild and customization. New custom frame built around 1971 Chevelle components including front end, differential, short block V-8, Turbo 350 automatic transmission, and tilt wheel. "Holly" 4-Barrel Carburetor, "Edelbrock" head, Aluminum Billet Valve Covers, and Billet Oval air cleaner to fit into the tapered hood design. Power brake system and front suspension re-built and upgraded 2018. Front suspension lowered for stance and rear suspension modified for less bounce and add to stance. Under seat gas tank rebuilt and relined. Stainless steel front and rear bumpers.
American Racing Alloy Wheels. Tires with only 200 miles on them. Front tires P205/78R15 and Rear tires P275/60R15 1073 M+3. Wider 1943 rear fenders allow for the larger, wider rear tires, improving the forward rake.
New interior with custom contrasting Camel carpet, Light Camel head liner, and 3-tone, CUSTOM DESIGNED, heavy gauge vinyl seat upholstery and door panels compliment the Camel interior. New "Grant" billet and Walnut Banjo racing steering wheel tilts for easy access.
Electric Windshield wipers changed from original pneumatic. New battery, aluminum body alternator and wiring upgrade. All new electronic ignition system. New aluminum water pump and aluminum radiator with aluminum covered hoses.
Very unique 1941 styling with Gull Wing Folding Hood, 20"+ wide streamlined front fenders and super wide streamlined rear fenders. Fenders and running boards are new heavy duty fiberglass. Original "Sharks Teeth" chrome front grill and side hood vents in great shape. The wide fenders and grill are unique to early 1940's Chevy Trucks and were styled for a unique appearance, later used as the concept for the Chevy SSR Pickup Design.
New oak bed with stainless steel rails. Main cab gutters removed for cleaner line.
