For Sale: 1932 Ford Coupe in Lavergne, Tennessee

Vehicle Description

The 1932 Fords were the founding fathers of the hot-rodding movement. They were modified in endless ways from mild to wild. This 2-door coupe is a unique build that takes the old-school, stripped-down aesthetic of the body and compliments it with a beautiful and plush interior that even has air conditioning! This is a '32 that you could comfortably drive every day. Or stay nice and cool cruising in the hot sun at the beach. Check it out.

Starting with a Beebop body is almost like cheating. It has great build quality so the doors shut great and everything fits together well. Coating it in Matte Black and complimenting it with Red suspension pieces makes for a great look. Dialing in a bunch of chassis rake adds to that look with a dose of serious attitude. Discreet use of chrome appears on the body, mostly up front with the waterfall grill trimmed in thin chrome piping flanked by chrome teardrop headlights. A ridge of it runs down the center of the hood and the windshield trim is polished up nicely too. There is, however, nothing discreet about those sharp looking Weld wheels! The sides of the hood are fully louvered and the chopped roofline tucks back in with a small back window before flowing down over the trunk with a simple, clean and classic look of a '32.

Open the reverse hinged door and you will find a striking Red interior that is unusually luxurious and inviting for one of these cars. The door panel sets the pattern with a pleated center section between a smooth upper and lower and billet armrests and door handles. Yes, those seats are as comfortable as they look. They were sourced from an '89 Maxima then improved with extra bolstering and memory foam before being upholstered in ultraleather. Nice. A big round 4-spoke steering wheel with a polished center button is mounted on a tilt column and the shifter for the automatic transmission is mounted in the floor. White faced Haneline gauges are arrayed across the black dash with the speedo and tach in front of the driver with voltage, water temp, oil pressure and fuel off to the right. A nice stereo pumps the sounds out through speakers mounted beside the rear window and the Vintage Air controls to keep you cool on those hot summer days are mounted low in the center.

Raise the louvered sides of that hood and you will find a healthy 350 cubic inch V8 tucked down in a neat and clean engine bay. It is nicely dressed out for the show with a big bell-shaped chrome air filter assembly and chrome valve covers as well as alternator providing plenty of flash. An electric fan keeps temperatures under control while headers wind their way out the bottom and back through cherry bomb style mufflers. Power flows back through a 3-speed automatic to the rear end with 3.25 gears. The chassis of the car is a Brookville, which like the Beebop body, is a quality foundation to build from. The axles, steering gear and suspension has all been coated in red and the radius rods look great without fenders on the car. Adjustable coil overs at the rear enable you to dial in as much chassis rake as you like. Power front disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power and the rubber meets the road through 285/70/15s in the back and 155/80/15s in the front mounted on those awesome looking Weld wheels.

A stripped down, Matte Black '32 outside with a luxurious interior that makes this car a comfortable long-distance cruiser or daily driver. Come on down and check it out.
