The 1940 Mercury Flathead Club Coupe was designated 09A as its title, but was always known as a Mercury Flathead V8. The transmission is a standard "H" pattern with three on the tree on the column and has a Columbia overdrive which gives the car the capability of going approximately 75 mph on the freeway. This particular vehicle was painted green, has Art Deco features on the dash board and has a circular dial radio with an antenna that goes through the roof.
