European Motor Studio is excited to offer this stunning 1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow I finished in a very rich color of Regal Red Metallic over Tan leather interior. Final assembly at the Crewe Cheshire factory was completed in December of 1976 making it a very unusual car with a Shadow II body and one of the very last Shadow I’s off the line. Sold new at Riviera Rolls Royce in Van Nuys CA in January of 1977 to its first owner where it lived for many years until moving to PA with the Chairman of the Rolls Royce Modern Society and VP of the Rolls Royce Foundation. The car has won many awards over the past few years including 1st Junior and 1st Senior at the Hershey Car show, a Concours Touring award in Louisville TN and first place in the RROC Toronto car meet. Having been completely stripped down to bare metal, the car was repainted to a very high quality and shows an incredible finish. The engine and transmission have been rebuilt and brake pads, rotors, rear hydraulic rams, switches and accumulators were rebuilt along with a fluid flush. Numerous suspension and steering bushings were replaced during the rebuild. The chrome bumpers have been re-plated and the body seals were replaced. This Shadow I is an incredibly strong running and driving car that does not smoke under start up or acceleration and has excellent brake pressure with no signs of fade. The suspension is very solid with no noises or signs of problems. The steering is very tight as it should be free from play or looseness. All of the electronics are operating as they should including the power windows, door locks, AC and radio. And all of the interior and exterior lights are working as they should. The interior is all original and in exceptional condition. The leather is very soft and supple with no real signs of wear or damage. The carpets are all original and in excellent condition and the leather dash top shows no sings of shrinkage or warping. All of the wood still has an excellent color rather than the typical discoloring and clear coat issues. Huge sums of money have been spent on this lovely Shadow to put it in the condition it is in today. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire an incredibly well maintained award winning Silver Shadow not so often seen in this condition.
