It shouldn't be news to anyone that Impalas like this 1968 SS 427
are being snatched up by collectors as quickly as they can find
them. 427 V8 power, full-sized comfort, lots of options, uniqueness
and rarity . Your looking at a one owner, all original 1968 Impala
SS 427 that is one out of 1,778 ever built. Included is the
original owners manual and Protect-O-Plate. This car has been well
cared for and stored indoors for the last 20 years with less then
2,000 miles put on it during this time. This is the real-deal
numbers matching 427 SS 4-Speed car everyone wanted back in
1968.
It underwent some service work in recent yearssuch as a rebuilt
front suspension, new clutch, brake system, engine seals and a
recent tune up. Overall the car runs great; all the lights and
gauges work as well the A/C compressor, even the door buzzer still
works!
This car was interestingly ordered without a Z03 code meaning it
came with a bench-seat from the factory. This was even more rare as
most all came with the bucket seat option. The interior is very
clean and the dash and gauges almost look brand new. The
undercarriage is very original with all its original floor plans
and rear end. Overall this is a history rich, one owner, all
original, SS 427 Impala custom ordered out of Glendale, California.
