Vehicle Description
This Speedster re-creation was hand-built and professionally
assembled. Powered by a high-performance 1600cc engine with dual
carburetors, it's equipped with a high-ratio 4-speed manual
transmission with highway gearing known as the Freeway Flyer. The
car is built on a 1971 Volkswagen Beetle chassis. It has front disc
brakes and drums in the rear for quick stopping power. It has dual
exhaust with a throaty rumble. It's painted with Guards Red paint,
and the black and red interior has all the correct Speedster-styled
trim and accessories, including the Porsche steering wheel,
short-throw shifter, bucket seats and period-correct German-style
gauges. The car has a Pioneer stereo with hands-free Bluetooth and
Pandora capabilities. It's equipped with four speakers and tweeters
for surround sound, even while driving with the top down. It comes
complete with a fold-away black convertible soft-top and side
curtains, with a black tonneau cover as well. The car does come
with the original Guards Red and chrome bumpers. **TITLED AS 1971
