Cadillac, one of the oldest and most well known American marques, has always been known for producing some of the best quality cars in the United States. Early on, Cadillac made cars such as its incredible V-16's of the 1930's and was the first to introduce the V-8 in 1915 on a large scale production car. When the decade of the 1950's hit, this was Cadillacs heyday producing the most outrageous "Jet age" designs in automotive history. Owning a Cadillac in the 1950's was a real sign of wealth and style.
Offered here is a fantastic and very unique example of one of Cadillac's best designs of the 1950's; a 1956 Cadillac Coupe DeVille color code 46-90, Mountain Laurel body and Alpine white roof. Very few Cadillacs were ever produced in this color making this car over the top outrageous. The car itself has just 25,000 original miles and retains much of its original paint. The matching color interior with silver cloth is also original. Highly optioned, equipped with power windows, power steering, power brakes, autronic eye, and aftermarket continental kit. Mechanically, the original 365 cubic inch V8 runs and drives very nicely and very smoothly as a good original car should and the undercarriage is very original and dry as it was sold new in Texas.
