Vehicle Description
Its killer exterior shade will draw attention wherever it roams and
the rumbling big block power standing by under its hood makes for a
great time behind the wheel. This 1967 GMC C10 Stepside is one
sharp looking, muscular pickup that also harbors a number of
welcome features that make it well-suited for frequent driving.
The bright, distinctive shade of blue on display here is an
absolute winner - it equips this classic with tons of visual energy
and accentuates all the curvature and rugged appearance that made
the C10 stepsides of this era so appealing in the first place. When
viewed from the side, the short bed in back adds a stout, beefy
look and upon closer inspection, you'll see that the exterior
alignment on this Chevy is in good order - the bed area lines up
nicely with the cabin and consistent gaps surround its doors and
hood. The stance is yet another high point - it's lowered but not
so far as to create clearance issues, and just the right amount of
incline adds an air of customization without going overboard. Up
front, the signature GMC grille and pair of twin headlight casings
have been painted to match the rest of the exterior - it's a very
cool look and allows the assembly of clean chrome and high-impact
wheels to really pop. Sharp 454 badging on the front fenders
proclaims the sizable displacement lurking beneath the hood.
There's a nice, comfortable interior waiting inside the doors that
combines all of the C10s original vintage charm with a couple of
nice add-ons to up the driving experience offered. The black cloth
bench seat is well-padded and shows no tears or pronounced wear and
it's bracketed by door panels that mirror the exterior color and
have been equipped with speakers to fill the cabin with sound via
an AM/FM/CD player taking center stage on the dash. An assortment
of white-faced gauges sit just beyond the added Grant GT steering
wheel, still looking sharp and functioning as intended. Just below,
an aftermarket air conditioning system has been added and it's
running in top form - blowing strong out of the underdash vents, it
cools things off in no time at all. In back, the wooden bed is
surrounded by a clean liftgate and inner fenders and sits nice and
flush. It could use a refinishing to bring out its best, but that's
a fairly simple undertaking.
This vintage truck sports one fine looking engine compartment, at
the center of which sits a 454 cubic inch V8, surrounded by
well-detailed blue inner fenders and firewall and dressed up with a
chrome air cleaner and a pair of chrome valve covers. The big block
has been equipped with a Holley 4-barrel carb and an Edelbrock
Performer 2.0 intake and pulls with gusto and sounds great as it
exhales into its Xlerator mufflers while pairing with a smooth
shifting 3-speed automatic TH400 transmission. Despite its
considerable years of service, the underside of this Chevy appears
very solid and well positioned to serve dependably for many more
miles to come. Power brakes that position discs up front bring
prompt stops, power steering makes this substantial pickup easy to
navigate and a set of ultra sharp 20" Ridler wheels wrapped with
Goodyear tires finish off its look very nicely.
Running strong and looking sharp, this 1967 GMC C10 Stepside would
be a perfect fit for the classic truck enthusiast who also prizes
an inspired and comfortable driving experience. Call today!
