Vehicle Description
This sweet-looking 1969 Chevrolet Camaro custom was recently
restored with many upgrades throughout. It draws a lot of attention
wherever it goes. As the VIN indicates, it was born a 1969
Chevrolet Camaro coupe with an 8-cylinder engine that was built in
Norwood, OH. As the original Trim Tag indicates, this car was born
Glacier Blue with a Dark Blue deluxe interior. This car was the
product of a complete nut-and-bolt restoration. It was completed in
2018 and has less than 300 miles since completion. During the
restoration most of the sheet metal was replaced, including a new
cowl hood. The body is straight with nice gaps throughout. The
exterior has been finished in its original beautiful color of
Glacier Blue with black racing stripes. It looks very similar to a
Z/28. The front and rear windshield was replaced new. The side
glass is original and in nice condition. Everything on the exterior
was restored or replaced, such as the window trim, wipers, mirrors,
grille, front bumper and bumper guards, rear bumper, headlights,
taillights, door handles and emblems. The car has a great stance on
the new Ridler staggered 17" and 18" wheels. The wheels are wrapped
with new Nitto Extreme NT555 tires that are 245-45-17 on the front
and 285-40-18 on the rear. The interior was restored in its
original color of Dark Blue with deluxe trim. The interior
complements the exterior very nicely. Everything in the interior
was restored or replaced, including the one-piece headliner, sun
visors, rearview mirror, dash, door panels, hardware, front
seatbelts, rear seatbelts and carpeting. Some of the custom
interior features include Dakota Digital VHX gauges, Budnik Ice
15.5" black steering wheel, heat delete panel, center console, Pro
Car bucket seats, Hurst shifter, carpeted floor mats and a custom
AutoSound stereo system. The trunk compartment was restored with
correct trunk spray. The engine compartment is very clean
throughout. It's powered by a 4.8-liter V8 engine that was recently
tuned and runs great. The custom engine cover and air intake were
painted to match the car. Other engine compartment custom features
include aluminum fender braces, oil catch can, Taylor wires, hoses
and Optima Red Top battery. The engine is cooled by an aluminum
radiator with electric fan and custom overfill canister. The engine
breathes through polished headers and Hooker mufflers. The engine
is coupled to a T5 5-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt rear end
with Moser Engineering cover. It's equipped with power steering
that works great. The undercarriage is very clean throughout. It
was outfitted with frame connectors for extra strength. It's
equipped with power 4-wheel disc brakes that include slotted rotors
and red calipers. The suspension system consists of ST Suspension
sway bars and Excel-G gas shocks. This car was built to enjoy and
look good doing it. This car has recently been serviced and
detailed, which is documented with an invoice that is included.
