Vehicle Description
Certain cars appeal to a much wider audience than just fans of the
marque. This is such a car - a 1965 Corvette Convertible. It's a
Nassau Blue beauty with a 327, a 4-speed, and tons of charisma.
Open the hood to see everything you need for fun cruising and
outstanding performance. The highly-revered 327 Turbo-Fire small
block sounds fantastic through a set of headers and chrome Corvette
side exhaust pipes. But the sound quality here is more than just a
free-flowing exhaust, so let's investigate. Starting at the top
there's a generously sized chrome air cleaner with a K&N filter
to give the engine a good gulp of air. It's ingested through a big
4-barrel Edelbrock carb to an Edelbrock Torker intake. The Torker
is an excellent choice for hi-performance street duty due to its
favorable torque curve. (hence the name, get it?) An Accel coil
gets things started and the Accel wires see to it that all the
juice gets to the plugs. The result is music so heavenly that the
Delco AM/FM pushbutton radio will probably spend most of its time
just looking pretty there in the center of the dash. The dash
itself is outstanding. All those great Corvette gauges are nice and
clear, and even the rallye clock is still keeping time. The Nassau
Blue exterior with a white soft top and the blue and white interior
give the car a great fun-in-the-sun kind of look that's perfect for
warm weather cruising. Those beautiful white door skins really are
a highlight! Knock-off aluminum wheels team up with the sidepipes
to give Corvette fans all they can handle. Those just-right wheels
are wrapped in BFGoodrich radials for superior ride and handling.
All the exciting elements of speed and beauty come together in one
very attractive package. A 1965 Corvette 327 4-speed Convertible!
