RARE, FIRST YEAR CHEVELLE SS MODEL - 138 VIN CAR
This rare first year Chevelle SS Convertible is one of only 5,429 built in 1966. Lifetime Florida car with a partial restoration about 15 years ago. This car is well equipped with a long list of options not often seen on this vintage of Chevelle. We are offering this car AS IS, thinking owner will see this rare car as a full restoration candidate. Runs and drives very well, just needs to return to its glory condition. Partial restoration about fifteen years ago. New paint, top, interior and engine rebuild. Codes out as "H" Willow Green car when built, changed to Red on restoration. No evidence of the previous Green paint can be seen. Driver quality repaint in Bright Red. New White convertible top. Newer correct Ivory vinyl bucket seat / console interior. Original dash, new door panels, older carpet needing redye. Original chrome & stainless. Rebuilt matching numbers 396/325HP V-8 with 4BBL. Rebuilt three speed manual transmission. New dual exhaust. Original wheels and SS spinner wheel covers - older whitewall radial tires.
