Vehicle Description
This two-family owned, well-restored 1950 Plymouth Suburban is
powered by a 218ci inline 6-cylinder engine mated to a
column-shifted selective 3-speed manual transmission. This was
Plymouth's original sport utility vehicle, with a Carter
single-barrel carburetor, 6-volt electrical system and single
exhaust system, as well as hydraulic 4-wheel manual drum brakes and
independent front coil springs. This Suburban also sports
telescoping shock absorbers and front anti-roll bar with a solid
rear axle. It has longitudinal leaf springs and 15" steel wheels
with Goodyear Super Cushion tires. Also included are the original
car invoice from 1950 and original Plymouth brochures.
