87,644 West Coast Corvettes proudly presents this 1970, C3, Big
Block, coupe. It is a truly stunning car that has benefitted from a
frame on, restoration/preservation. The car received a repaint in
its original Marlboro Maroon. It is a modern 2 stage paint with a
clear coat that looks outstanding. New weather stripping has been
installed, the bumpers have been rechromed, and new emblems were
used. The front end was rebuilt with new bushings and shocks along
with an alignment. The brake system was completely rebuilt with new
brake lines, calipers, rotors, and pads. The vacuum system was
rebuilt and the headlights and windshield wiper system operate
properly. The original, numbers matching, LS5 was rebuilt less than
1000 miles ago. During the rebuild a roller cam and hydrauhlic
lifters were installed, the crank assembly was balanced, forged
pistons were installed and the heads were rebuilt. I do have a copy
of the receipt for the engine rebuild. A new carb, with electric
choke, and a GM HEI distributor were used and this is the easiest
starting big block you will find. A new clutch has been installed
and you will love how smoothly this car shifts. The exhaust system
was also replaced, and the air conditioning system was rebuilt and
converted to R-134. An aluminum radiator has been installed along
with a new clutch fan and heater core. As far as the interior goes,
the carpet was replaced and an underlayment heat shield was
installed. The seat covers are believed to be original to the car,
along with the wood grained, deluxe interior door panels. The fiber
optics do work as well as the gauges. The original am/fm radio is
present but does not work. The 454 makes all the beautiful music
you will want to listen to while driving this classic. This
Corvette is an absolute pleasure to drive. It is equipped with
power steering, power brakes, power windows, tilt/telescopic
steering column and air conditioning. If you are looking for a big
