Selling for family friend who is 83 years old. He is the 3rd owner
of this 1966 Pontiac Tempest Lemans. Not a GTO. This car is real,
and located near Charlotte, NC Current owner purchased the car in
February of 2002, and underwent a full restoration in 2002 with new
paint and interior, and the original 326 engine was rebuilt as well
as the 3 speed Saginaw transmission, with Hurst shifter. Have all
documented pictures to show the restoration, and rebuilding of
engine. The car is very solid all the way around, with ZERO rust.
The mileage is 53k, and is likely correct, according to
registration docs dating back to 1997. The owner installed a GM HEI
distributor, as well as a Holley 4 barrel 600, Edelbrock aluminum
intake manifold, dual exhaust, and chrome gauges under dash. Seat
belts have been installed to comply with state laws. The original
parts are also available. The power convertible top is in excellent
condition, and works fine. Comes with a red vinyl parade boot. The
original drum breaks are 100% and have been completely rebuilt.
(wheel cylinders, etc.) The car has a clear Florida title, but
originally came from GA. (family friend still lives in Florida),
the car has never been in an accident. The original Georgia license
plate from 1966 is included. The paint is in very good condition
with a few minor scratches and nicks. The interior is in above avg.
condition, with no tears, no stains, no cracks in dash. The chrome
on the car has minor pitting is some areas, but overall, good
condition. The engine has a very minor oil leak the size of a pea.
I believe it is the oil pan. The car has like new Coker Redline
tires, and the original Pontiac wheels, with new chrome beauty
rings. The AM radio does not work, their is no A/C, and never was,
