I am selling my 1968 Javelin SST. This car was originally a 360 V8
car with a Four Speed on the floor. a previous owner spent a lot of
money building a very dependable 401 engine that runs very well and
lots of power. It still has a Tremec Four Speed transmission and
Limited slip rear end. this car is fast and fun. The body was
redone in a Red paint with tons of big gold metal flake. The body
is a 9 out of 10. Whoever did it was good because it is very
straight but there are a couple of small defects that are barely
noticeable. The black interior is decent older restoration but the
dash could use some little details. this car is rust free and
beautiful. this car was built several years ago and has done a lot
of sitting in storage so it will need some TLC. It runs and drives
and it has a brand new Optima Battery. what it will need that I
know of is a brake power booster and master cylinder, power
steering belts and the fuel system could be cleaned better. Finally
it needs smaller tires in the back or new leaf springs because the
tires will hit the wheel well if you get on it hard or hit a bump.
This car needs maybe another $1000 and it will be a high end
dependable driver that will command attention wherever you go.
these are really rare and this is a great one for the price.
