1988 Rolls Royce Silver Spur cylinders: 8 cylinders drive: rwd fuel: gas size: full-size title status: clean transmission: automatic 1988 Rolls Royce Silver Spur. Great running old car with original interior and exterior. The interior of this Rolls Royce is fantastic for the age and miles. There are no cracks or splits in the seats, dashboard, or headliner. The interior wood was redone last year and some stylish rugs added to really add to the provenance and elegance of this "royal" vehicle. In the 3-4 years I have owned this vehicle I have had the brake calipers rebuilt, brake accumulators replaced, suspension gas springs replaced as well as the A/C compressor, receiver dryer, and expansion valve. It has a different radio in it with a screen on it, it plays dvds which is really nice on long road trips! I've driven this car everywhere, charlotte to palm beach florida , several trips to the mountains and to the coast of NC. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. The mileage is at 112000, some may say that is high and worry. In my experience with these vehicles I would rather prefer one with some miles on it. The fact that this one has been driven and is continually means it is looked after and well maintained as well as being enjoyed as it was meant to be when it was produced by the Coventry 30 years ago. Excellent examples of these Silver Spurs go for 20-25K these days and you can believe they will increase in value.I have no doubt this one could bring those kinds of numbers with just a little more TLC in the exterior department. There is some body damage on the passengers side and it is sporting original Lacquer based paint that is beginning to loose some luster in its old age.
