Vehicle Description
This 1934 Ford Phaeton custom convertible wears original Henry Ford
steel and has undergone a complete professional frame-off
restoration with attention to detail. It is powered by a GM 350ci
V8 engine with aluminum Brodix heads and a B&M blower with four
Mikuni carburetors. It has a rebuilt Turbo 400 3-speed automatic
transmission turning a C3 Corvette rear end. This Phaeton street
rod is a complete professional build that started with a rust-free
body and original Ford steel. The engine compartment is trimmed out
with many chrome and machined aluminum components. It features a
Walker radiator with two electric fans, Triton chrome power
starter, polished stainless-steel headers and exhaust, stainless
brake lines and fittings with a Monte Carlo front disc brake kit
featuring C3 Corvette rear calipers and stainless pucks, and Posie
front and rear springs. All of the suspension components have been
chromed or polished. There is wiring throughout, a polished
stainless gas tank, and stainless-steel bumpers and bumper guards.
Finished in a DuPont Pitch Black acrylic enamel, it sits on four
special-built Dayton wire wheels wrapped in Michelin tires with two
identical spares on either side of the car. The highly detailed
interior features upholstery and carpet, rebuilt original oil, gas,
AMP, temp and speedometer gauges, a Jennie shifter and hand brake
and a banjo steering wheel. The convertible top has oak wood bows
and a rear window. Luggage rack is mounted with chromed brackets,
and the chassis has been sandblasted, boxed and painted. All parts
were new at the time of restoration.
