Using the FF as a starting point, the Ferrari GTC4Lusso debuted at
the 2016 Geneva Motor Show with a remarkably practical combination
of all-season traction and a spacious shooting brake body.
Beneath its skin, of course, the GTC4Lusso was every bit a Ferrari
with a 6.3-liter V-12 engine teamed to a seven-speed dual-clutch
transmission that helped it achieve 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds
before topping out at 208 mph.
The GTC4Lusso 70th Anniversary Edition offered here is a one-off
creation by Ferrari's Tailor Made Collection. Ferrari first
unveiled its Tailor Made personalization program in late 2011 in an
effort to revive the traditional handcrafted, bespoke craftsmanship
with which Maranello originally built its cars. This special
GTC4Lusso features the commemorative 1951 212 Inter Vignale livery
and is finished in Rosso Mugello paint over light tan leather
upholstery with Bordeaux stitching.
The GTC4Lusso features an options plaque showing its extensive
Tailor Made upgrades inside and out to honor Ferrari's history with
Vignale. Carefully chosen details such as its Monte Carlo Satin
Gold carpeting and Glossy Argento Nrburgring interior trim serve
as a gentle nod to the past. Chrome grille edges and polished
20-in. wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S performance tires
hint at the 212 Inter Vignale's elegance. Further factory options
listed on the data plate include adaptive headlights, a panoramic
moonroof, ventilated and heated seats, and a suspension lifting
system. With its substantial bespoke extras, this GTC4Lusso cost
$477,000 when it was new.
This special tribute to Ferrari's illustrious history shows less
than 200 miles and is presented in exceptional condition.
