recognize that a classic wagon offers at least as much utility as a
modern 'crossover', but more style and character than a dozen of
those generic blobs. Our 1960 Chevrolet Nomad illustrates this with
an exclamation point! This lightly freshened survivor retains its
original 348 engine (TO627H) and also features power steering,
power brakes (upgraded to front discs), the rare 3-speed Turboglide
automatic transmission, all-original E-Z-EYE tinted glass, and
correct (possibly original) red and white houndstooth upholstery.
There are two small rust areas beneath the back window on the lower
inner quarter panels, one on each side, but the pans and frame are
excellent (California car). The key-operated electric rear window
still functions perfectly and the factory radio still works (needs
antenna). This cruiser is an absolute blast to drive, but be
prepared to chat with the curious onlookers, because this baby gets
LOTS of attention. This thing is cooler than the other side of the
