This 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 SC 50th Anniversary Edition is one of 50
Anniversary Editions produced, one of 29 with an aluminum body and
one of three that were painted. The rolling aluminum shell alone
was $182,945. It's powered by a Roush Yates 427ci engine,
dyno-tested at 599.7hp at the crank, backed by a 4-speed manual
transmission, and has 50 test miles. This Cobra includes a complete
book documenting the build at Shelby, the engine build and final
assembly.
