Vehicle Description
This 1970 Chevelle is an original SS 396 car transitioned to a more
modern custom. The SS received a frame-off restoration with many
custom modifications, including the suspension. The big-block 396ci
engine was upgraded and modernized with a super-performance Holley
Sniper fuel injection system, including a new MSD electronic
ignition. The engine transfers power through a rebuilt GM TH400
automatic transmission and a GM 12-bolt 3:31 posi-traction rear
end. The custom exhaust includes Hooker competition long tube
headers, Flowmaster mufflers and an X-pipe. This custom Chevelle is
equipped with Wilwood 4-piston disc brakes at all four corners. For
the warm months, a new Vintage Air Sure Fit Gen IV air conditioning
system was installed. The custom Chevelle rides on Ridler custom
18" front and 20" rear rims.
